This is a new product for Prevco and has been developed due to high demand in the market place. The devise can control a number of functions due to the multi-deck internal rotary switch, which in the current model has up to 4 switch positions. This could be useful during a system setup and helps to conserve battery power when equipment not in use and also gives control over a several functions. The current designs on offer are made from Al7075-T6 or Titanium Grade 5 and both have a depth rating of 6000m.
There are obvious differences in these materials as far as corrosion resistance, durability and cost and Prevco would be happy to advise which is most suitable for your application. The switch can be hand held or mounted directly to a bulkhead with an FCR style interface. Custom options including depth rating, material and number of switch functions are also available.
